Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I hope someone can help me on this as it's driving me crazy.

It started with audio faults (no sound) following a windows update in August 2022. Searching on line it was suggested that I download windows again (as recovery I think). It mentioned that the pc will restart several times. Three days later and with a consistant loop with a black screen, rotating dots and underneath stating 'Undoing changes made to you computer...'

Prior to that another sentence shows for a split second.. 'Attempting', I can't read the rest as too quick. The pc restarts as per kind of normal, then the same process happens again and again.

If you can assist, please do. I have a desktop HP Compaq dc7700p Convertible Minitower, Processor Type: Intel(R) Core (TM)2 CPU  6600 @ 2.40GHz, Processor Speed: 2400/1066 MHz, System BIOS: 786E1 v03.05, Chassis Serial Number: [Personal Information Removed], ME Firmware Version: 2.1.3.1031

Thank you. Paul
