Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Upon starting the brand new system this afternoon, it started to do an update and is still showing "Restarting" on the screen for over an hour. No files have been loaded onto this system yet as it is only brand new. F10 button to the BIOS settings is not responding..any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

I would do a hard shut down by depressing and holding down the power switch.

Restart the PC and see what happens.

Same problem suggests you should return to the retailer for an exchange or a different product.

Something is amiss with this PC.

Regards

Many thanks, finally got it going after going in via the BIOS window and a safe start. It appears to have been a problem with the new update to Windows 10 which froze the system. Once removed we are back up and running. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
