Created a USB to update BIOS. Followed HP's instructions but the system is not reading from the USB

Hi,

 

Your PC has to support a bootable USB BIOS update option.

 

You would get a create USB BIOS update option when you run the BIOS update executable you downloaded from your PC's download site.

 

Then you could tap "ESC" to get to HP's UEFI Startup menu and select boot options to do a one time boot to the USB drive containing a valid, bootable BIOS update option.
