Product: HP Compaq d530 Convertible Minitower Desktop PC
Operating System: Linux

When I apply power, for a second or two the LED is green and the fan starts, and then the fan stops and the LED changes to a repeated blinking pattern of four red blinks separated by a dark interval lasting as long as two of the blinks.  What problem does this indicate?

See appendix A, page 58 for how to troubleshoot that code.

 

Some kind of issue with the power.
