> hard drive on all-in one ... failed
This is an indication that your hard-drive is in "imminent failure" status, and must be replaced.
If there still is some "life" remaining, make a backup of all your Personal Files, to an external disk-drive.
Or, purchase a new Seagate disk-drive, with the same physical dimensions as your current disk-drive.
It might be faster (7200 RPM instead of 5400 RPM), and it might have a larger capacity.
Download the free 'SEATOOLS' software from Seagate's web-site.
That software can be used to "clone" your current disk-drive onto the brand-new disk-drive.
The "cloning" will copy everything, block-for-block, from "source" to "target" disk-drive.
If a few blocks cannot be copied, then 99.999% of the blocks have been copied.
If you are "lucky", you will never "miss" the presence of the content of those blocks,
e.g., language-support for a Russian keyboard, or "unallocated" blocks of disk-space.
Remove the old disk-drive.
Connect the new disk-drive in its drive-bay.
Reboot, and all your installed programs and personal files will be present.
If you do not feel confident in doing the "disk-cloning" yourself, hire a professional technician, and state that you want them to follow the above instructions, i.e., *NOT* to install a "fresh" copy of Windows onto the new disk-drive, which will not carry-forward your personal files nor your installed programs.
