I have a HP 260A Slimline Desktop PC, which I was resetting Windows 10 because every time I started my Avast Antivirus Scan, it triggered a restart of the computer after the scan was only 1/4 complete. This happened 6 times, the same way even with an Avast tech support person removing and reinstalling Avast antivirus. He recommended resetting Windows, I attempted a cloud reset of Windows 10, which self-aborted, and the system reversed changes, then went to an HP boot scan which started as 4 hours ETA, then that estimate increased, 33 % into the Stage 1 scan to 89 estimated hours. I don't think a full system scan is needed, as the 6 TB HDD is fairly new, sent to me a few months ago to replace another WD Black HDD that was faulty, of the same model
