Hi:
The latest BIOS version for your PC is 7.16. It was only written to be run on W7.
Updating the BIOS to 7.16 would not make any difference because in order to run any Nvidia card beyond a GT(X) 6xx series in a HP PC, your PC would need to have a BIOS version 8.1x or newer.
Now, if you want to go through this routine every time you start the PC, you may be able to get the video card to work, but you may have to update the BIOS to v7.16, and I have no idea what will happen if you try to run the W7 BIOS update on W10.

You're very welcome.
I would get one that supports the Intel 4th generation or newer processors.
A motherboard such as that would support the newer video cards because they will have the BIOS version needed to support such cards.
