Product: HP Pavilion 590-p0055qe
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
- I have 6 month old HP Pavilion 590-p0055qe with 64-bit_Win10_Pro_version1809
- before going to version 1903 coming out, wanted to verify I could boot from CD. I could never before.
- after too much hassle, decided to change secure boot. A big red warning window appeared and gave me a 4-digit code+Enter, and then I was able to activate/deactivate legacy something, the thing is that I was able to boot to a Macrium Reflect CD, and seemed to be ok.
- It is the first time I have to deal with UEFI type BIOS. For two days I can't configure properly the different menus in Boot Setup (esc/F10) or Boot Order (esc/F9) menus. I can not make it boot Win-10 from my original C: drive.
- I am using the old PC here from last year. Can somebody HELP me out to save my PC? It appears to be a matter of wrong UEFI BIOS configuration, but I am LOST.
Please, any help??
I am also logged on at [Personal Information Removed]
Could provide phone # on email for texting + sharing bios pics
