Hey,
I got the BSOD every boot after a windows update on 11-10.
I'm able to boot in normal mode for 1-10 min depending on load of the PC(apparently it doesn't like youtube instant BSOD).
The failed program is called ntoskrnl.exe.
I'm able to stay on safemode for over 1 hour right now no problems.
I did reset windows with my personal files working, but the error keeps popping up.
Hope somebody can help me?
Best regards, Kevin

Hi @KevinS478
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Uninstall the W11 update if possible. Or trying a system restore before doing a reset might have helped.
This error message could also be caused by a RAM problem or a driver problem. A stable OS in safe mode could indicate a hardware driver problem. The faulty driver is not running in safe mode.
You reset W11. In most cases, this should eliminate a driver problem. It is also possible a failing HDD could cause this problem.
Check all hardware by running HP boot time hardware diagnostics.
Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.
Select "F2".
Run system and component tests.

Hi @KevinS478
Thanks for the update.
An IRQL error usually refers to corrupt system files or a buggy hardware driver that conflicts with CPU memory management. Incompatible or buggy graphics card drivers can also cause this error.
This error can also be caused by, but not limited to, failing hardware such as memory or a HDD/SSD. Or it could be a different hardware problem.
So it can be caused by failing hardware, corrupt system files or a buggy driver.
You reset Windows and still have the problem blue screen problem.
It sounds like a hardware problem. Any component or external device connected to the PC or the MB could be the cause.

Hey,
Today I reset windows again and noticed my driver(ie nvidia gpu) didn't reset. It was still at the updated firmware. So I'm guessing it is a driver issue. But I don't know how to figure out which driver. Anything video related seems to be causing crashes(YouTube or media player).

Hi @KevinS478
Try rolling back the graphics driver in Control Panel, Device Manager.
Uninstall the Nvidia driver in Control Panel, Programs and Features.
Install the latest Nvidia driver for your card at this Site.
The graphics card could be in trouble if the error continues after trying different graphics card drivers.
