Pavillion 500-223w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

so ive had my hp pavillion 500-223w for a while now so i figured id change case, after doing so, the motherboard gives me a message saying 512- rear chasis fan not detected or something like that due to 120mm fans spinning slower. So i thought i might as well turn off fan check in the bios but theres no such setting allowing me to do so. is there like a hidden combination of keys to press so that more advanced options show up in the bios? maybe like a nuclear code to enter? or did HP just say f*ck it and made a useless bios thats more vanilla than the Mac OS?

btw the motherboard is the memphis-s by Pegatron, 2AF7.

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Sorry, there is no "hidden code" that will unlock secret options in the BIOS; it is what it is.

although i still dont understand why HP would make a motherboard thats clearly made to be future proof but give it such a sh*t Bios. i mean it even has the LED slot, how is that not a message to upgrade? and if theres no fan control options in the bios why does it still know its missing? it must have been set up somehow.
