Hi @poppydog123,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand that your HP All-in-One was working normally when you left it, but now it appears completely dead and does not respond to the power button. Since you have already had the power supply checked, let's first determine whether the computer is receiving any power at all.

Please try the following:

  • Disconnect the power cable from the All-in-One and unplug it from the wall outlet.
  • Disconnect all non-essential USB devices and peripherals.
  • With the power disconnected, press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable directly to a known-working wall outlet, then try turning the computer on again. HP recommends this type of power reset for computers that do not turn on.
  • If there is still no response, please check whether you see any power LED, keyboard light, fan noise, beeps, or other activity when you press the power button.

Could you also provide:

  • The exact HP All-in-One model/product number.
  • Whether any lights or sounds occur at all when you press Power.
  • Whether anything happened before the issue, such as a power outage, surge, Windows/BIOS update, or hardware change.
  • Whether the power supply that was tested is the original HP power adapter/cable.

If there are no lights, sounds, or fan activity whatsoever after the power reset, HP's guidance indicates that the computer may not be receiving power and further hardware-level troubleshooting may be required.

Best regards,
