Hi  @shenock,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I hear your concern on how it feels when your system feels slow. Dont worry let me help you with this.
Could you kindly confirm the exact HP model you’re using? Also, when you say “processing time slow,” is this happening while starting up, opening applications, or during specific tasks like browsing or using software?

Here are a few  steps you can try :

01.Check Startup Programs

Too many apps launching at startup can slow down performance.

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc → Task Manager → Startup tab

Disable unnecessary apps from starting automatically

Keep antivirus and essential drivers enabled

02.Run HP Support Assistant

HP’s built-in tool can detect performance issues.

Search HP Support Assistant in Windows search bar

Run diagnostics for performance

Apply recommended updates

03.Check for Windows Updates

Outdated system files can cause slowdowns.

Go to Settings → Update & Security → Windows Update

Install pending updates

Restart your PC after updates

04.Free Up Disk Space

Low storage can impact processing speed.

Go to Settings → System → Storage

Delete temporary files

Uninstall unused apps

Move large files to external drive

05.Run a Quick Hardware Check

Slow performance can sometimes be linked to hardware health.

Open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows

Run a quick system test

Check memory and hard drive health

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
