Hi, I have got HP G3 800 mini with core I5 processor, after i upgreade to CPU i7-7700 computer working but - error chassis fun not detected - there is no that fun, i upgreade my bios to newest- the same result, I remove I7 and install I5 - problem solved, so I install i7 again and the problem comeback, any ideas? Do not know that to do in bios can't find the option to remove that info...

the core i7-7700 is on the list support in that motherboard

I suspect you need the 65 watt fan assembly.  The part number is 914254-001

BIOS probably checks for the correct fan / heat sink  to be installed.   Possibly there is a better chassis fan required if you have the 65 watt cooler.

 

The above is just a guess as I do not have that system.

Yes, probably you have a right i found heat slink but can't find a cooler for 65w slink, do you have a number of cooler?
