This desktop is from March 2012, and has BIOS version : AMI 7.09, 3/14/2012. I got this computer with windows 7 64-bit, and have since upgraded it to windows 10 64-bit. It came with an AMD Radeon HD 7570 graphics card. I wanted to upgrade this because of how weak it was and purchased a Zotac Mini 1050ti. After installing the new graphics card, It took a very long time to boot, all the while giving one short beep every 30 seconds. After getting it to boot finally and installing nvidia's drivers, the card got shut down by windows in device manager (Code 43). I figure that the card is not compatible with the BIOS version so I went to HP support and found the newest BIOS update for it. (Version 8.21 Rev. A, Jan 5, 2015) I figured that this BIOS version would be compatable, but I looked at the supported OS's and there is no windows 10 64-bit. It again came with windows 7 64-bit preinstalled, so should I try to choose that and update it or should I downgrade back to windows 7, update BIOS, then update back to windows 10? Is it even possible to make this board
(Pegatron IPMMB-FM (Formosa))work with a 1050 ti? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I want to figure out if I have to return the 1050 ti, get a new mobo, or if I can possibly make this work. Thanks

The unit must see WIN 7 in order to accept the newest BIOS update. There are hacks, but do you really want to do that, and maybe "brick" the BIOS? If you could find a GTX660, that would be a better solution. What wattage PSU do you have?

I always mention the GTX660. I have heard no comments on the GTX660ti, but some have posted critical issues with the GTX670 being "dicey" with HP boards. These are all Legacy cards. If you can locate the card, remember a Corsair CX600 is an exact fit, has the cabling you'll need, and is only $49.
