HP OmniStudio X 31.5 inch All-in-One Desktop PC 32-c0000 (9T0F9AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

For anyone wanting to upgrade the 1TB SSD to a 2TB or 4TB SSD in their HP OmniStudio X 31.5 inch All-in-One Desktop PC 32-c0000, I can confirm that the Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe 2TB & 4TB SSDs work perfectly.
The YouTube video instructions (Removing and replacing parts | HP Omnistudio X 31.5 inch All-in-One Desktop PC | HP Support)  are essential to watch. The video makes it look easy, but I found removing the speaker chin and display panel to be quite a challenge and requires a great deal of care.

It's great to hear about your successful upgrade with the Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs on the HP OmniStudio X 31.5-inch All-in-One Desktop PC 32-c0000! Upgrading storage can significantly enhance the performance, especially when switching to a faster and larger NVMe SSD.

  1. Watch Official Instructions:

    • Watching the official HP video on "Removing and replacing parts" is crucial. It provides a step-by-step guide that helps to minimize mistakes during the upgrade.
  2. Take Your Time with the Speaker Chin and Display Panel:

    • These components can be tricky to remove, so patience is key. Make sure to use proper tools to avoid damage.
  3. Handle with Care:

    • Ensure you carefully handle the internal components to prevent static discharge and physical damage.
  4. Backup Data:

    • Before making any significant hardware changes, back up your data to prevent any data loss.
  5. Use the Right Tools:

    • Using proper tools, such as a good set of screwdrivers and plastic pry tools, can make the process smoother and prevent wear to the screws and panel edges.
  6. Check Compatibility:

    • It's always a good practice to verify the SSD specifications with your system’s capabilities to ensure compatibility.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
