HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Base Model Tower PC

I upgraded my EliteDesk 800 G2 TWR to use a larger video card and larger case.  The new graphics card blocks access to one front panel USB motherboard connector.  I further removed the other USB connector to remove clutter.  Unfortunately, both USB's are custom pin configurations with sense / cable detect.  Thus I receive "41A-FrontUSB 1 / 2 Not Connected" errors.

I'd like to jumper the cable-detect pins to ground to remove the error.  Can anyone post a pinout or tell me which pins I need to bridge to remove the errors for USB 2 and 3?

Well, I tried it!  8/12 for the USB2 (12 pin) and 7/10 for the USB3 (20 pin) worked like a charm.

Small notes:  the pin numbering system is different between the two.  USB2 has all odds on one side, while USB3 has 1-10 pins on one side.  I used female breadboard style jumper wires.  They were quite loose on the thinner USB3 pins, so I removed the plastic housing and crimped the little metal sleeve inside to make them more snug.

There is a video on YouTube which shows what is claimed to be the fix for the error.

I do not recommend or guarantee in any shape form or fashion that it will work.

Upcycling an old HP motherboard and putting it in a nicer case, but getting this error? Error 922-Front USB not connected occured! Press F1 to Boot! Here's how to fix it: HP uses proprietary front panel USB headers on many of it's motherboards (HP Prodesk 400, HP Elitedesk, etc). They require a ...

The USB2 on an 800 G2 has a different pin configuration than in the video shown.  It's a 12 pin header vs the standard 10 pin header.  I suspect that I need to bridge pins 8 and 12.  I trust the video's USB3 7/10 pin bridging will work for the 800 G2, but I also have no idea what happens if I screw this up.
