AIO - how to identify/find M2 port

Hello Everyone,

How do I identify weather my HP All-in-One 24-f106la has a M.2 port? I am thinking to buy a M.2. SSD but not sure if my PC supports it.

I've run several applications with no success. And not sure if these Interactive System Board Viewer files are accurate: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06516478 and

Hi:

According to the product specs that model has two M.2 slots.

Todo-en-Uno HP 24-f106la Especificaciones | HP®Argentina

One would be for the M.2 wifi adapter, and one for a M.2 SSD.

What I don't know is if the slot supports SATA or NVMe SSD's.

Usually with a Ryzen processor the slot supports NVMe SSD's, but I can't say for sure.

it says on the Expansion section:

One M.2 socket 1, 2230 type for WLAN

One M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD (PCIe x2 or SATA x1)

So I think your comment is correct.

I cannot find any specs on the motherboard.

Do you have a product number you can post?

Use this guide to find that information...please do not post the serial number.

The product number may give me a link to the parts list, which may have the motherboard model and I can see if HP has any info on that.

Unfortunately, the parts list does not provide the part number or description for the motherboard.

Hopefully, someone who works for HP can provide more info since they should have access to more resources that we don't have access to.

But, according to the specs and even the motherboard pictures on the links you posted, show the M.2 SSD slot in the upper right corner of the illustration.
