@deanieabiepeple,

Welcome to our HP Community Forum!

Since a Xeon E1270 v2 lacks integrated graphics, a separate graphics card is needed. Anyway, there is no particular reason I know of why your AMD FirePro W7000 4GB shouldn't work -at least with an MS default graphics driver, at which point you should download/install the correct driver found here. HP Z220 CMT Users have been able to make many graphics cards work, as you can see here: UserBenchmark: HP Z220 CMT Workstation Compatible Components.

Let's go over the following.  Install a working graphics card, and please go to HP's drivers & software link: HP Z220 Convertible Minitower Workstation Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support, and ascertain that you got the latest BIOS version (01.87 Rev.A), and why not allowing HP to check your system for any other driver & software upgrades: "Let us detect the drivers you need for this HP PC":

The W7000 requires one 6-pin PCIe power cable. Please make sure that your PSU's PCIe power cable is plugged in securely. Observation: your RAM is on the low end. I would recommend a minimum of 2 x 8GB of DDR3 PC3-12800, 1600 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 240-pin RAM (such as this quality 2 x 8GB dual rank (2Rx8) RAM kit purchase option: Timetec 16GB KIT(2x8GB) DDR3L / DDR3 1600MHz (DDR3L-1600) PC3L-12800 / PC3-12800 Non-ECC Unbuffered ...), but 6GB shouldn't be an issue per se.

Here is a somewhat related discussion link that may be useful: https://community.amd.com/t5/drivers-software/firepro-w700-drivers-install-fails-quot-failed-to-crea....

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

Dude The PC Doesn't display anything at Boot UP It's Got NOTHING To do with the Drivers..... THE GRAPHICS Card is NOT Showing ANYTHING at Boot Up!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

@deanieabiepeple,

This "dude" understands perfectly and doesn't appreciate your denigrating language.

Let me repeat what I said in my previous post: you will need to try again with a different graphics card precisely because you got no display.  There are no magic buttons you can push to make the W7000 work.
