HP ENVY Desktop - 795-0030qd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On my previous HP computer I had a LED that indicated that the drive was operating and busy.

Is any visual indiczation offered on the HP Envy Desktop?

"Even some sort of on screen indication that the drives were in use would help."

Windows 10 Task Manager (More Details) has a nice graphics display including disk usage at the Performance tab that can be shown on the desktop in a small window.

Hi @RetiredRob1

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Are you looking for an LED light indicator for the Optical Drive? If yes, I'm afraid this computer does not have that. The front of the computer has the Optical Drive and the manual release hole.

All my previous systems had some sort of activity indicator. Even some sort of on screen indication that the drives were in use would help.
