Hi:

Unfortunately, that would not be possible.

If you wanted a TPM 2.0 security device in hope of installing W11 on your PC, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2/22H3

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.

I see.

No, it was not for Win11, I just need to have the TPM 2.0 chip on my motherboard.

I guess then the only solution would be to buy a new motherboard(?)

Thanks for the help!

You're very welcome.

It is highly doubtful that there would be a motherboard with a TPM 2.0 security chip that would work for you.

I recommend buying a new or or refurbished PC that comes with a TPM 2.0 security device.

I'm thinking you will need a PC with an Intel 8th generation or newer processor in order for the board to have TPM 2.0.

Some higher end HP business class PCs such as the Elitedesk 800 G3 have TPM 2.0 security chips or TPM 1.2 that can support a firmware upgrade to TPM 2.0.

I have an 800 G3 that came with a TPM 1.2 chip and I upgraded the firmware to 2.0.

This document lists the PC's that have that kind of support:

Really many thanks for the help!
One question:

I would prefer not to buy a new pc but i'm okay with buying new components. From what I understood I have to buy a new processor and a new motherboard, right?

You're very welcome.

Yes, you would have to buy a motherboard with a TPM 2.0 security device which will require a newer processor.

If you need help with sourcing a new motherboard for your PC, please start a new topic and provide the full model number or product number of your PC.

Personally, I don't believe it will be possible but that is not my field of expertise.
