HP Elitedesk 800 G4 SFF
Microsoft Windows 11

I had recently purchased a Elitedesk 800 G4, it was a i7 and I was quite ecstatic a the price. Quite unbenownest to me was the fact that it comes shorn of many simple hardware which is commonly available in most laptops, Desktops and MiniPCs (like the Intel NUC). I learnt it doesnt have a Wifi or Bluetooth and also didnt have USB C or HDMI ports. Luckily I had a Bluetooth dongle and My router was close enough to run a cable. But Not having HDMI was a bummer. My monitor which I wanted to share with my office PC, only has HDMI inputs, no Display port  and no VGA.  Dont understand why they would add 2 Display ports but no HDMI. Anyways, I found one seller in ebay selling refurbished USB C type cards and such
The card that they are selling is:
1. HP Type-C USB 3.1 Gen2 Port Flex I/O Option Card L54681-002 3TK79AT 3TK79AA
2. HP NEW 3TK79AT 3TK79AA Data Connector Type-C USB 3.1 G2 PD Flex IO L25754-001 (maybe the same as above)
My question is will they be compatible with my Box. Will they need additional cables to connect to MB for data or power?
Is there a way to add a HDMI port without a Graphics cad?

unless the motherboard id designed to pass video to USBC adapter you will not get any video.  there are plenty of display port to hdmi and are cheaper than pcie cards

@MaxxD -- Do not understand why they would add 2 Display ports but no HDMI.

You may purchase a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter -- a short cable about 20 centimeters long, or you can purchase a 6-foot video-cable with a DisplayPort connector at one end and a HDMI port at the other end. Not expensive!

I am aware of that cable. But wanted to have a full fledged HDMI experience.

Also I need the USB C type to use a USB C type docking station that I have. Any idea bout the card that I have mentioned?

Seems that USB C type cards are supported. Have a look at this one:https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1417919-REG/hp_3tk78at_type_c_usb_3_1_gen2.html/?ap=y&ap=y&sm...

I am aware of the Converter cables but want to use a USB C type dock which I have lying around.

What kind of manufacturer wud add an i7 Processor in a box but no HDMI/USB C/Wifi/ Bluetooth.. these are de-facto standard even on a i3 these days.

 unless your monitor supports HDMI 2.1 you wont see a difference.

that card is equivalent to DisplayPort rev 1,4 not HDMI 2.1

Buyers look at prices and don't think of those things till late, it's called buyers remorse and  applies to voters and politics as well.  .Unlike anti-lock brakes on street motorcycles, no government will mandate USBC with new systems.

A DisplayPort cable, or a combo DP/HDMI cable, can carry the same audio and video as an HDMI cable.

Computer <--> DP socket <--> DP-to-HDMI-adapter <--> HDMI-cable <--> HDMI-input on monitor.

or:

Computer <--> DP socket <--> DP-to-HDMI-cable <--> HDMI-input on monitor.

A manufacturer that wants to sell a "lower-price" computer, by leaving-out some features.
