Add m2 drive to omen 45l

I would like to add an m2 drive to my omen 45l.  There seems to be a slot above the gfx card. My question is will I be able to do this without removing the gfx card? Any tip would be great, new to all this... Thanks

Hi @DavidG26 

I think the 45L has two M.2 sockets. One between the graphics card and the CPU cooler, one below the graphics card and memory slots. 

You should have one M.2 drive now. The M.2 socket above the graphics card may be populated. Check the lower M.2 socket to verify this.

It is possible to install the drive in the upper M.2 slot with the graphics card in place and this slot is empty if you can get a screwdriver and your hand in there.

one m2 accessible without removing the video card, if not already occupied
and the other, you have to remove the video card
