HP 8100

Hello, I have a chance at several HP8100 desktops with no hard drive. How do I know what HD I can install? is there a limit at how large a HD I can use with the system, and can I boot a operating system via USB after installation and is it free to boot the system? I have several of the model numbers to help determine the spec of the desktops I will be getting.

if I go up to a 1TB or 2TB i am assuming I will need to add memory but also wondering if the desktop speed is up to par for that also.  Thank you!

I have asked a moderator to remove those numbers, as you listed the individual serial numbers.

Those units are quite old, circa 2011, and started with Vista OS. Will not accept modern GPU cards. Max of 2 TB hard drive.
