Pavilion TP01-0145m
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My system has 8GB of RAM installed. I would like to upgrade it to 16. I am having trouble identifying what type of Ram I would need or how it is configured on my motherboard when using the Support Assistant. Has anyone done this install, and if so, what do I need? My product number is 3UQ91AA#ABA and all I can find out is that I have "Hynix 2667mhz 8GB" installed.

So is that a DIMM? How are my slots configured?

The specs of your machine is

            https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06448545

Its motherboard supports

  • Dual channel (1 DIMM per channel) memory architecture
  • Two DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
  • Supports PC4-25600 (DDR4-3200)
  • Supports 4 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB DDR4 UDIMMs
  • Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
  • Supports up to 32 GB (unbuffered) on 64-bit computers

From above info, it has 2 slots of RAM and machine already has 8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) therefore you can upgrade to

   (a) 16GB: add same existing 8GB to slot 2 or using the following compatible RAM (will run at 2666MHz)

                      https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4dfra32a/ct18582717

         or         https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4dfra266/ct18576387

   (b) 32GB (max): install 16GB each to both slots using the following compatible RAM (will run at 2666MHz)

                      https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k16g4dfra32a/ct18676749
