Can I update my Thimphu motherboard BIOS to work with the i7_7700k processor? This board only supports 6th generation processors, but it is identical to the Thimphu-K board which supports 7th generation processors. I cannot find this BIOS, please help

Hello
sorry, but that doesn't seem possible
And it would be risky to try
The motherboards may be similar,
motherboard specifications, Thimphu
- HP/Compaq name: Thimphu
- SSID: 2B4B
motherboard specifications, Thimphu-K
- HP name: Thimphu-K
- SSID: 2B4B
The same ssid, so it might be possible ..
But I can only advise you not to try
if that doesn't work you risk rendering the motherboard unusable
this is just for information, you decide
But it seems to me that the available bios are identical
maybe you don't have the latest version in this case you can try the one available for your computer
so, your computer, you have this maj:
A0.59 Rev.A
Feb 12, 2018
and another model, with the other motherboard it looks the same:
A0.59 Rev.A
Feb 12, 2018
again, nothing is saying that this will change anything, and there is a risk!
