BIOS downgrade

Hello, I need help obtaining BIOS version L01 v2.15 (or an earlier, unlocked version) for my HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF. My current BIOS (L01 v2.71) is locked down, which is preventing my i5-4570 from reaching its default turbo boost clock of 3.6GHz; it only reaches 3.4GHz at best. This locked BIOS also denies me control over memory timings and fan profiles.

I am not trying to overclock, but simply want to restore the full default performance of my processor.

Could you please share a direct download link or guide me to where I can find previous versions of the BIOS?

Hi:

There was never any method to access an 'advanced BIOS' setting and your PC never had any settings to change the memory timing, etc.

These are HP business class PCs and the only BIOS settings available are what you see now, and are the same regardless of what BIOS version you have installed.

A quick glance of the release notes indicates that you cannot go back to a version earlier than version 02.68.

If going back to an earlier version does not resolve the problem, there is a BIOS update available that is not on your PCs support page and that is version 02.78.

Just note that if you upgrade to 02.78 you cannot go back to an earlier version, not even 02.71.
