Hi Matth27,

 

Wow, we are going from bad to worse.

 

I can think of three possible scenarios:

 

1. Window 7 is installed in Legacy mode.

2. A power or data cable on the HDD or MB is not fully seated

3. The HDD has failed or is in the process of failing

 

1. Enter the BIOS to disable Secure boot/enable Legacy support (Link).

 

2. Check and reseat all drive and MB cables

 

3. Run HP Diagnostics (Link).

 

Start your PC

Tap "ESC"

Select "F2"

Run system tests
