Hello, I want to upgrade my HP Compaq 8000 Elite SFF PC

What is the best GPU to upgrade this pc?

You can try one, but I think it will be too powerful for the 240W power supply.

 

I also don't know if the legacy BIOS the 8000 Elite has, will allow the 730 to work.

 

I have given you an answer where the card is guaranteed to work.

 

Beyond that, you are on your own.

Hi:

 

I'd go with the Radeon HD 6450 low profile card.

 

Make sure you get one that comes with the low profile mounting brackets in the box.

 

It will work with the 240W power supply your notebook comes with.

 

It was the optional graphics card for the HP 8200 Elite SFF.

So, this is the best high end gpu that I can put in my pc? Niether a gt730 64bit would work?
