Hello all! Appreciate the help. My HP is doing fine. I upgraded the CPU  from the i5 it came with to a Intel Core i7-9700F last year, big help. I installed an EVGA GT1030 GPU as soon as I did the CPU, also big help. But not where I want to be online gaming. I just changed to a used Gigabyte GTX1050ti. It's a little glitchy and can see some slight improvement, but not much. So, without buying a new PC (not in my fixed retirement budget), what newer low profile unit would be most compatible with my rig and perhaps get me the consistent 75fps/<35ping? Is a GTX 1650 about as high as I can go? I can only buy one in the next 2-3 years, so really want to make a good decision. Thank you in advance. Jerry in OK

normally this game doesn't need a huge configuration, from what can be seen here
Personally, I find that boost software is often not so effective, but it's up to you to see
If you want a good graphics card, you will have to pay the price
and it does not matter if the 300w power supply was correct, it will be necessary to check according to the chosen graphics card chosen
Depending on the model power required, recommended by the manufacturer, and pci power connectors required or not

Hi JVJBassMan,

A very good question -and I'd like to provide my feedback.

You are limited by your current 310 watt PSU (p/n: HP L10875-800).  However, I believe (HP Expert to confirm) that your desktop's PSU can be upgraded to a 400 watt PSU (p/n: HP L04618-800).

According to the same source (see link below), that would allow you to install a GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GPU, which would most definitely meet your gaming needs.

If you don't want to go that route, and want to stick with your current PSU, then in my opinion the low power MSI GeForce GTX 1650 GT OC is one of your best bets.

Ok, but what exactly are you playing?
What recommendations for your games precisely?
Is it a graphics card problem, because depending on the 1050ti could be sufficient?
on the other hand, if you have problems with internet speeds, it is something else.

I am playing World of Warships almost exclusively. I do use NVIDIA GeForce app and Razer Cortex Boost (not premium).  Yes, that is my motherboard except for the Ram, SSD and i7 upgrades. I am considering going to a 1660 gpu once they are available again. My internet is actually pretty good. Ethernet w/1000Mbs and generally test at about 960Mbs. My NVIDIA setting right now are mid-range performance, but I would like to get better graphics AND the performance. Yes, I am limited on power supply. But the 300W Gold Unit I have has never given me any problem even when doing 3D Revit drafting. Help...and thanks!
