I notice you are not answering my questions.

If you do not answer questions, how can you expect someone to help you?  This is a two-way street of information.

"why do i need to do any of this i updated the BIOS 2 days before putting all of my hardware into a new case why would bios need to update in the 1st place could one of the pathways on the MOBO be broken?"

"putting all of my hardware into a new case "

You had not shared that before.  Hmm. So there is much more to the story.

What exactly did you do?

Did you reseat the memory modules?

Have you verified all of the cables required connected to the motherboard are indeed  seated correctly?

Did you connect the 4-pin CPU power connector?

Most of them should click when they are seated properly.

You are the person who started the thread about updating BIOS, not myself.

I would not have updated the BIOS on a motherboard that was already working in the original case after putting it into a new case.  That was just asking for trouble.

The problem is that you are just not giving me all of the information I need to help you.

You should have taken photos with your phone before you moved everything to a new case.

I am glad for you that you did not try a DIY build from scratch.

the only thing different is the case with a different power button and a newer gpu which i changed last November so is irrelevant to the situation

OK. Do what you have to do.

Look back at what you wrote and even at the subject of this thread which is "Infinite Bios update loop".

These are your words:

"why do i need to do any of this i updated the BIOS 2 days before putting all of my hardware into a new case why would bios need to update in the 1st place could one of the pathways on the MOBO be broken?"

Good luck!
