Hi:
I pulled the parts list for a model in the series sold in the United States with the same motherboard and it came with a 512 GB NVMe SSD.
The thermal pad has this part number and description:
M22460-001 | Thermal Pad SSD 40mm*20mm*7mm,OrisaI |
The part is not orderable from HP.
HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - Compaq Parts
This vendor sells them...
M22460-001 - Hewlett-packard (HP) - Thermal PAD SSD 40MM 20MM 7MM, I | Impact Computers

Thank you again, I found out that having the ssd in a thermal sink with two thermal pads on it will keep the operating temperatures within the desired range, no extra thermal pad required behind the encased SSD. I am in your debt again, Be well.
