Throwing in my dime's worth: there are good reasons to believe that your Pegatron Corporation 2AC2 motherboard is compatible with the Intel Core i7-2700K processor.
Your motherboard's H61 chipset is part of Intel’s 6-series chipsets and is compatible with LGA 1155 processors, including Sandy Bridge CPUs like the Intel Core i7-2700K.
If your system was my upgrade project, I would definitely try out an i7-2700K.
Kind Regards,

Thank you. I really appreciate the information. I did not realize the 0 did not show. I am running Windows 10 not windows 7 or the 1.
I guess I won't worry about updating the bios, if the 2600 with be seen and work. I don't have windows 7 so I can't update with that link.
Thank you again for all your assistance.

It may be that you do not need it, and have the MicroCode installed, but I have seen cases of processors that the user puts and are not on the list and work but with heating problems, does not work the Turbo Boost etc ... so it is a risk to install a processor that is not on the list, if you have enough money or a supplier who can change the processor if it does not work you can do the tests.
Updating the BIOs does not guarantee that the MicroCode for your processor is present.
