Is the 60-65c temps under 100% load, or just idling? If it's under 100% load, 65c is great. Even up to 80c during gaming/intense workloads is good. If it's 60-65c under idle load, that's too high. I hope this helps, and I love to help with tech! 😀

Also, I'll help you with overclocking! I Just got to read some overclocking guides.

Unfortunately, it's 50-60C in idle and around 80C when I ran some games.

Question, if I install some good GPUs like 1080Ti/GTX 1660S, wouldn't it overheat as well due to the lack of case fans in my PC?
Yes, please help me with OC, that would be great.

Hello again! Yes, 80c under load is a bit high, but okay, but 50-60c in idle is kind of high. Better than before though! Yes, for case fans, you can upgrade them, to maybe good models, such as the Amazon.com: Noctua NF-P12 redux-1300, Quiet Fan, 3-Pin, 1300 RPM (120mm, Grey) : Electronics. Higher end GPUs like the GTX 1080ti or GTX 1660s would create extra heat. Check out Best GPU For I7-3770K In 2024 | for the best GPUs to go with an i7-3770k! For overclocking, MSI Afterburner might work, but be careful, as overclocking can damage your system if done incorrectly. I hope this helps! 😃

The problem is, I have HP PRO 3500 MT. In this PC, there is only one slot for case fan, so will I be able to use that case fan you recommended in my PC?

Also, I have to undervolt my GPU before I overclock it, right? Maybe I can reduce the GPU temp even further before OC. Thanks again!

I downloaded afterburner but don't know where to start. Kinda confused...

Yes, but you can remove and replace the current case fan, I believe. It should be as easy as unscrewing four screws, then unplugging the fan header, then installing the new fan by screwing the four screws and plugging the fan header in. Also, before buying that fan that I recommended, unplug your current fan to see how many pins the connector is (then your new fan will need that many pins). Also, the pins are fragile, so be careful! Yes, under-volting the GPU is a good idea, but if you overclock it, make sure you give the right amount of voltage. To make things easier, Afterburner has an automatic overclocking tool (but it may not be compatible with your GPU, I don't know), learn more at MSI Global - The Leading Brand in High-end Gaming & Professional Creation | MSI Global - The Leading... Or, if you want to go through a full guide, check out this Youtube video. Also, if you buy a new GPU, maybe EVGA is a good company, since they have a lot of overclocking tools (since you want to overclock). Please note that I am not responsible for any damage done to your machine. I hope this all helps! 😃

Just checked my case fan for pins and it's got 3 pins. Also, how would i know the size of the fan i got is the same size of the fan you recommended!?

HP Recommended

To check the size of your current fan, just get a measuring tape and measure your current fan in MM (millimeters). Note that you must measure left to right, not diagonally. I hope this helps! 😄

I know it was kinda dumb question hehe... but thanks man.
