Cleaning under the hood today with compressed air.  Noticed a cable near the inside top of the chassis was not plugged into anything. Did I accidentally unplug it? Or was it never plugged in anywhere? The cable is identified as RGB ROUND FAN CABLE 350.0DB0A.0002 HIGH-TEK/ZSW42. The only nearby place on the MB that's vacant is LC_PUMP LCFAN3 but it's a 4-prong male. The cable is also male.

I have taken pictures.

Maybe it's not supposed to be plugged in?

hi

Cables may not be connected.
but there you indicated that it is probably a fan cable  ( or some led rgb )
personally, i have never seen unconnected fan cables, but your model is totally different from what i may have seen so far
So check if all the fans are connected, to start
and check with this video

Thank you for the link. It will certainly prove helpful.

For now I have a feeling the cable is "spare" as its length is limited and there is no nearby (female) socket or plug.

Everything otherwise appears to be working OK on my PC.
