Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs page for your PC.

HP says the max is 2 x 8 GB

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06034637

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your PC.

Crucial indicates that you can upgrade to 32 GB and Crucial is almost always right.

Thanks.  That is what I found too and why I am confused.   I was hoping someone at HP can confirm 2x16 will work before I purchase 2 of these systems.

You're very welcome.

HP will just tell you what the specs already indicate.

You can call them at 1 (866) 724-8600 and ask.

The processor and chipset your PC has supports at least 64 GB of memory with 4 memory slots.

Your PC only has two, which is why the limit is 2 x 16 GB.

Thank you.  I really appreciate your expertise.  I feel comfortable to purchase now.  Again, Thanks and Happy New Year!

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.

My understanding is that it is very puzzling how to take that model apart and there are no manuals that I know of to get inside of it.

Happy New Year to you too!
