I was wondering if I can add an second internal hard drive to this system.

There are 3 hard drive 3.5" bays. All hard drives require Fillister head screws 6x32 1/4 long.

Example of the hard drive bay and the Fillister head screw.   (Fastenal is a good supplier).  These enlarged head screws allow the hard drive to slide down into the locking mechanism. You will hear it click. There is a unlock tab on the right side of each bay.

Your might want to read this as an alternative plan.   M.2 socket 3, key M
