Can I add a single "Seagate IronWolf Pro 24TB Enterprise NAS Internal HDD Hard Drive – CMR 3.5 Inch"?
I know it is for NAS/RAID but want to use it as a "regular" HDD, if possible.

Hi @PeteAmend,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
Yes, you can add a Seagate IronWolf Pro 24TB HDD to your HP OMEN 45L Gaming Desktop and use it as a regular hard drive. While the IronWolf drives are designed for NAS environments, they can function well as standalone drives in a gaming desktop. Just make sure you have the appropriate mounting brackets and SATA connections available in your system.
Once installed, you can format the drive in your operating system to use it just like any other hard drive. Keep in mind that while it's built for high workload situations typical in NAS setups, it will still perform well for general storage tasks in a gaming environment.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a great day ahead!
