Hi, I’ve got an HP Pavilion m9580a which I want to change the serial number, model number in the bios. An example is in the BIOS the serial number is just ones and zeros and the model number is D5468AT-ABA instead of FT963AA-ABG. Also, the model name is ALONPAV instead of m9580a
It is on the latest BIOS update.

Changes are simple to make when using Enterprise notebooks, but not Consumer notebooks.
That is because updating the information in Consumer edition notebooks is usually only done using HP Proprietary software that is usually not available to the public.
Be aware that there is indeed a risk in making changes to the BIOS fimware with unauthorized software.
I found a thread from back in 2018 about DMI region modification, including serial number change. You can try it if you like.
