Welcome to the HP Forum.

My mistake. You are referring to a Power Bank. I would not know if power can be transferred from the Laptop battery to a Power Bank.

It sounds counter intuitive to transfer power stored in the Laptop battery to a device used to charge portable devices.

Regards

The Laptop power brick, when connected to an AC power source, converts AC power to DC power.

The DC power provided by the power brick will then simultaneously charge the Laptop battery, as required ,and will power the Laptop.

The Laptop power brick would not store energy. It is a pass through component.
