I want to install a 3 1/2" HDD inside my Desktop computer. Is there a mounting bracket and appropriate data and power cables available for one HDD?

It's a lot of effort to shut down, disconnect all the cables, open the case, and look!

So I thought I could save that effort by asking.

Greetings @Joschka

Some newer HP PCs have a drive cage capable of doing: a 2.5 inch SATA SSD, or a 3.5 inch HDD , or both.

Please provide a specific HP PC Product Number.

The product number might help. But it is often difficult to acquire case specifications from HP Support documents.

You might have to remove the side access panel and take a look at the case internals.

It is not required to disconnect all cabling to take a look at the chassis internals.

Just disconnect AC power. Then depress/hold down the power button a couple of times for about 10 seconds each time to deenergize the MB.

You'll have to disconnect all rear I/O cabling when you do the HDD upgrade, if you can install a HDD, in your PC's case.

Regards
