I am trying to install an MSI GTX 780 Gaming graphics card in an HP Pavilion 500. I have installed a Corsair CX650 power supply which should be enough for the card however when I connect the card to the mothboard I get no video signal at all from either the card or the motherboard. If I unplug the card form the motherboard the video works fine from the motherboards VGA.
The motherboard is a IPM87-MP. On system information it says the BIOS version is 80.07, 05/09/2013 and the HP support assistant says there are no new BIOS updates available.
It is simply not compatible or is there something I can do to get it working.
Thanks in advance for any insight!

Hello
The graphics card should be compatible
If your power supply is sufficient, it may be a concern of the boot security
Or your card has a problem
What is mentioned is not quite the same symptom, but check this:
Computer Does not Start After Installing a Video Card (Windows 10, 😎
