Common problems for Battery
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about: Battery Reports, Hold a charge, Test and Calibrating Battery . Check out this link: Is your notebook plugged in and not charging?

I believe my charging port is damaged. The light is lit, but the battery is not charging. And the plug is NOT going in all the way. I am broke at the moment. Is there a chance I can change anything in the system, or, use existing settings, to accept a charge from a USB type C Port on the laptop?

You'd have to let us know the full model number or product number of your notebook in order to get an answer to your question.

You can find your PC's product number by clicking on the search icon on your Windows taskbar.

Type: System Information

The System information app should show up.

Run the app and the product number of your PC will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.
