Hello, I have an Hp Pavilion TG01-1120. I want to upgrade my GPU to an Rtx 3060. I was wondering if the motherboard Baker could handle the upgrade. I have a 400w power supply. I'm sure I may need to upgrade that to a 500 or higher for the GPU since it requires 550w. My main concern is the motherboard, I've tried looking online for the answer but can't get any solid answers because the search throws so much other models in

@JamInsy,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1120 PC (328S5AA) as fitted with a Baker motherboard (SSID: 8767), has a 400-watt power supply -if I am not mistaken, with one 6+2 pin PCIe power supply connector -please verify.

There is a 500-watt power supply upgrade if you are interested, with p/n: L05757-800. This PSU can be purchased online, such as through eBay or Amazon.

However, a 400-watt power supply should be A-OK for an HP-branded RTX 3060, as I showed here in one of my HP legacy upgrade projects: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Upgrading-HP-ProDesk-600-G3-MT/....

Obviously, a 500-watt power supply provides a broader wattage range and can support more graphics cards.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
