Can You Upgrade Your Processor On a HP All-in-One

3 REPLIES 3

It depends on the model.  Some of the less expensive AIO have soldered processors.

What model and product ID is your AIO?  If you are looking to buy an AIO then just check the specs.

Thank you for reaching out. I have a Processor Intel(R) Core (TM) i3-2120 CPU @3.30GHz 3.30GHz

The  i3-2120 is a 65 watt CPU that fits in an FCLGA1155 socket.

Some of the following MAY work if they are rated a 65 watts or less.

It also depends on the BIOS version of your system.  Your system spec should list what CPUs can be upgraded to.

What is your device ID or the model of your HP all-in-one.   The product description will list what CPUs can be used.
