Not sure this is the right place to ask this, but it's the closest I can see.
I just bought a new HP Elite Mini g9, and have been trying to add it to the products in my HP account dashboard. When I type in the serial number and press enter, the page refreshes and nothing else happens, as if it has quietly refused the serial number. I also tried adding it as a new device while trying to contact support about that, the same happened.Note that the page does not comlpain that the serial number is invalid (which it does if I put something invalid in there)... it just refreshes and does nothing else.
It seems I cannot contanct support about the issue without telling them which item in my dashboard I am contacting them about... catch 22 (and a wasted 20 minutes trying to - not impressed). There's no way to contact support that I can see without registering the PC.
The serial number I am entering is correct. I've checked on the box and by 'wmic bios get serialnumber'. I have other Elite Mini's already registered to my dashboard.
Any help please?

Still cannot get my PC registered on my account. I found another place to do it on HP's website, a 'Product Registration' page (register.hp.com) where I also have to enter my location. That said "No result found" when I entered my serial number.
What is going on?
I've tried again to go through the 'contact support' system, only to continually hit the same block that I cannot contact them without saying which item on my account I want help with.

Thank you Erico.
I just now finished a chat with HP support - I cheated and started it about an existing product on my account, lol. Should have thought of that sooner.
I'm waiting now for management to take a look at the issue. Hopefully in the next 24 hours.
I'll report back with the results.

Smart thinking is always the best way to arrive at a solution.
Well done!

Not got anywhere yet. Support thought it was an account issue; not sure why when even when logged out, the product code was not recognized by HP's site.
I've been passed around a bit by email, and now heard nothing for two weeks.
Still cannot get this PC registered. It's as if it simply does not exist as far as HP is concerned.
Any help here would be appreciated.
