HP Omen X
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi, I just recently ordered a new PC from this website. It is the HP Omen X 900-140VT Gaming desktop. I was wondering since this specific case is unique in this scenario (a cube shape design) if it has a PCie slot for a capture card like the Elgato HD60 Pro. I was wondering about this because I am a novice when it comes to PC hardware and stuff. PC Specs: GFX NVIDIA GTX 1080 FH G5 Modified, i7-7700k, 3TB Hard Drive (No SSD) 32 GB RAM 1300W Power Supply. Thank you for your time!

Hi,

According to the specifications for your OMEN, there is an open PCIe slot inside.  This particular model uses the Z170 chipset and when the second PCIe slot is populated then the overall PCIe lanes are divided from 16 to 8/8. This means that your NVIDIA 1080 is not going to perform at the top level compared to having 16 PCIe lanes.
