Example: Pavilion all in one 27
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

When I start my computer, I get warning screen with CMOS reset(502). It than loads up windows fine. After about 5 mins, the computer completely shuts down.  I cant restart the computer unless I unplug it for about thirty 30 mins first. I have tried resetting  the bios to default settings,  but didnt change anything. When I try to run diagnostics, it shuts down before it can complete any. I tried replacing the a/c adapter, and tried different outlets in the house, and checked voltage from outlets. I am having no luck. I have only had the computer since march 2020, but the warranty is expired. Please help!

This sounds like a thermal problem. Something needs to cool off before it can be turned back on.    Get access to the insides and carefully feel some of the chips / hardware for high temperature.

A CMOS error that always shows up could indicated a bad battery.  You might test the battery or replace it.  See if the battery is hot to the touch.

Good Luck!
