Thanks a lot

You're very welcome.

I'm thinking that if you can't access the specs page in a few days, HP is in the process of taking down the support pages for your PC since it is more than 10 years old.

I'm surprised the driver page that Ub6424 posted still works.

HP Recommended

Sadly the driver page isn't the most useful. On Windows 10, I had to install a modded driver as the WDDM driver removed opengl 2 support - important for most games. I will be trying ti get a gpu, preferably a gt730. Thanks again for your help.

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.

Unless your PC is at BIOS revision 8.1x or newer, it is highly unlikely that a GT730 will work.

I doubt anything newer than a GT 610 would work in your PC.

HP Recommended

Any reason why one wouldn't work?

HP Recommended

Your PC does not have a UEFI BIOS, and the GT730 was designed to work with PC's with UEFI BIOSs.

You'd have to find one that works with a legacy BIOS.

Ive been googling and found it only works in legacy mode, so I'm confused rn.
