in the past two weeks my month old computer started freezing for one or two seconds every half hour to an hour. If a player is on, then the audio is vibrating. It returns back to normal without causing adverse effects, at least on the surface, but it's annoying and I assume shouldn't happen to begin with. How can I check what's causing it and solve it?
Thanks for the support,
Yotam

Greetings,
Welcome back to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
It is very hard to troubleshoot an intermittent PC problem.
Make sure the operating system and hardware drivers are up to date.
Could also be caused by flaky hardware or dirty power which means you may have a failing component or a power supply problem.
Run HP system startup Hardware Diagnostics (Link).
Tap "Esc", then select "F2".
Run system and component tests.
Contact HP Support as you have a brand new PC (Link).
Regards

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
