My computer keeps on shutting off with no warning, I don’t think it’s an overheating problem because no matter how long it stays off it won’t stay on for more than 45 mins at best and 2 minutes at worst. I’ve had it for a few months and have been dealing with the problem for a few days now. Does anyone have any idea what to do?

Hi.

Random shutdowns could be heat related. It could be a system driver problem, or a memory problem, or a HDD problem, or some other hardware problem.

Run HP Diagnostics. Start the PC, tap "ESC', select "F2". Run system tests. A pass running these HP test should eliminate a hardware problem.

You have had the PC for a few months. Contact HP Support (Link) if in warranty.

Regards
